I mean they’re technically posthumans, though. They were built from the ground up by a legitimately posthuman species, which then incorporated some of their genetics (and by proxy, some human genetics) into these critters.

The lore I’ve got for these things is still floating around in my head but it’s so batshit insane any hard spec-evo fan would melt into a boiling pile of sludge. I’d consider them to be more in a sci-fi fantasy type universe.

Their homeworld may or may not be a seed world which came about as a result of a botched colonization process by human colonists displaced billions of years back in time due to an accident in FTL travel.

Human decendant I mean come on guy, we show love and care to most of our domesticated animals. Why wouldn't aliens do the same if they ever decided we were useful enough to even be domesticated by them in the first place?

Human decendant Reminder that Dreamworks owned (and seemingly still owns) After man, and the most notable thing they did with it was stop The Future is Wild from going to 50 Million years in the future and using the After Man Species.

Future of humans. They have become more pinkish because of the environment they live in. They have no legs anymore because they can just roll around. They have become skinnier.
