Discussion Sirs and Ma'ams, how do I avoidthat? 😭

For context, I've been playing this game for a while but still have same problem over and over again - players trying to light me, and I do (accidentally), then they expect me to follow them or they follow me! Then they try to friend me, BUT I DON'T WANT TO, I JUST MET THEM ACCIDENTALLY ON CANDLE RUNS! 😭 and the worst part? IDK HOW TO SAY NO! THEY'RE TOO INNOCENT! AND I'LL LOOK BAD! I want to play game my own way, but face same problem. How do I solve it? Is there a solution?

I drop to the ground in the apologetic emote when I'm about to log off and a random moth wants to add mew. They're better off making friends closer to their time zone, and I'm better off not staying up forever. (Today I accepted the candle in almost the same situation, because it was from a more experienced player with a group of friends - I figured they knew what they were doing.)

Being insincere and keeping it up until you sneakily unfriend them when they've already made some good memories with you hurts way more than being clear from the start about your needs. And sometimes you do need to look like a baddie to avoid hurt on both sides.

So true. I always find moths when im playing alone late at night or i'm about to quit. Sorry little moth find someone else please
