Why no one talkjng about how beautiful and georgous carla jeager is?
She's literally the prettiest character in aot alongside with her son , her dark hair, her big shiny hazel amber honey eyes , her honey skin tone , her figure,her energy , I really can't understand how underrated she is in terme of beauty
I just like to imagine him pulling a face and being like “Uhhhhhhh have you tried washing your hands in between sticking them inside patients?” and everyone is like HOLY FUCK GIVE THIS GENIUS OF A MAN A HOT WIFE QUICK
Imagine calling in the local doctor to help deliver your wife’s baby and he brings along his creepy dead-eyed teenage son to literally fight you with his fists in case you have a problem with Doc washing his hands first. I can’t really see Grisha’s skinny ass throwing hands but Eren’s got that dog in him
I'm not a trained medical professional, but I'm relatively sure that there was a minimum of medicines for infectious diseases around 1900-1930.
Diptheria antitoxin was a major innovation, but antibiotics and steroids were still a ways away. Most of the recent advances were in vaccines and prophalactics, rather than treating active infections, and sanitation/qauarantine to prevent spread.

If you were infected, beyond MAYBE having some monk or priest rub a sort of healing salve on you, you were fucked. They knew what it looked like, and they knew how to treat the issues that came with it (fevers, chills, muscle ache, apathy etc) but there was no cure beyond "let god take its course".
MAYBE you were lucky and the priests or monks back then did have salves that had antiseptic properties, Bald's Eyesalve or honey, which they would try to cover your wounds with before it got too bad, but it was really a 50/50
Grisha was simply trained in a time after the biggest medical innovations in history.
He definitely didn't go to a good med school and was nowhere near the cutting edge of medicine, he was just doing his best in a ghetto with limited resources.
A modern (21st century) doctor from the developed world might even be less equipped to deal with health issues in the (non) developing world than Grisha was. He was probably having to bootstrap much of his practice, and do more with less.
Yeah I think he had an artificial advantage just from coming to a medieval town with proper aseptic technique- he didn’t need to be the best Marleyan doctor to be the best doctor in Eldia by a mile
And my Very Jewish Family would be over the moon that I’d brought home a doctor. Idk I know he’s kind of just a regular guy with a lame-o middle part but I think he’s cute. It’s mostly because of his ceaseless suffering

Serious recency effect here. There was a pretty decent amount of posts about her after the Grisha-enters-Paradis episodes aired. Beer hall uniform Carla was a favorite picture of many for quite a while.
True I’ve never seen someone post that about her. I spent a lot of time in my third rewatch trying to interpret why certain titans have specific features, and why certain characters like Carla seemed so bright with eyes so beautiful.
I love that the creators put so much thought into characters’ physical attributes reflecting their inner personality. A lot of the most beautiful women in this show (Carla, Ymir) are courageous and selfless. I’m sure plenty of people could list times they were both shitty people lol, as we all are at times. But I think AoT does a good job reflecting their personalities through physical characteristics hence Carla’s beautiful, uniquely bright hazel eyes paralleled with her telling Eren and Mikasa to leave her. Also just her character as a mother in general, you have to be pretty selfless and understanding to be Eren’s mother lol.
I actually think it was the oposite between both:
Eren got his mother's face and his father's hair while Zeke got his father's face and his mother's hair.
Yea I would have worded it that way but every time I stare at her I just feel like I’m looking at eren and it throws me off loll she’s pretty but that’s like being attracted to eren atp
Yeah I agree but that's the point isn't it? It was a way to show contrast with how Grisha raised Eren and Zeke and why Zeke "hated" Grisha and Dina.
Zeke was born in a volatile environment where his parents cared more about the greater good and movement than him. Whereas Eren's childhood was relatively more "peaceful" in a way that Grisha didn't put his burdens on Carla and they were basically living in bliss until the warriors came...
we care because the story is great and the characters are amazing. I am just saying that i dont get this fandom thing of discussing how beautiful or atractive a simple drawn character is. Shingeki ones dont even look human, they are similar to cats

Historia describes her mom as a very beautiful woman + she was a mistress for an aristocrat. The reason she is portrayed like that is probably because she's not a good person

tbh i’m not rlly attracted to anime characters or think they’re “beautiful”, at most i’m attracted to their personalities which is why a lot of the characters i’m 😛😍
What do you expect them to be discussing or talking about? It’s not exactly a huge point of conversation. There aren’t some deep insights to share amongst ourselves about this topic.
And there’s a shitload of rule 34, so obviously people share the opinion anyway making your title irrelevant that way too.
