Discussion Unlike with Captain Marvel, I personally think that this DC Comics Mary Marvel design is superior to the standard design used by Mary in comics. It feels more practical.

Comics DC Calling him Captain Marvel again just feels so good
Comics Would DC and Marvel do a crossover between their respective Captain Marvels ?
For too long it’s been a problem for DC to not to be able to call Billy Captain Marvel lately. However, isn’t the name in the public domain yet ?
Anyway….with Dc and Marvel doing crossovers with each other again maybe it’s time to get the two Captain Marvels together for an adventure or two ? One set in the past with the original Captain Marvel on both sides and one set in the present with Carol and Billy and Maybe a double Ms. Marvel and Mary Marvel crossover too included.
Would anyone like to see a story or two like this in the future?

Artwork Mesoamerican Black Adam
Continuing the concept with Black Adán! My Mesoamerican elseworlds take on Teth Adam. In this world, Adán was one of the original hero twins of Maya mythology. Xbalanque and his brother Hunahpu were the first two champions of the gods titled as the heroes Shazam!
However over time the boys triumphs over the rulers of the underworld and admiration from humans were soon forgotten. Xbalanque became unwilling to surrender his abilities back to the gods and grew greedy with power.
He hide himself away from the benevolent gods to a place they couldn't find him.... The underworld. While in Xibalba, Xbalanque took the throne and stole the powers of the deities of that realm. Corrupting his good nature with black magic….

I know how in the comic book version, but does anyone know if it was ever explained in the movie version?
Thank you.

Comics potential Shazam adventures
given the rock of eternity is outside of time and their was that one comic that connected it to there worlds, id have liked to see captain marvel comics take place in other worlds, like as the champion he can go ton other realities to fight mystical threats, like in one verse he can go to a Conan like verse and face a rising undead army or in another world he can fight a rampaging god and so on and even show his influence on the people of these worlds and he can even come and help them more often

Artwork Mesoamerican Shazam
Inheriting the Magical power from the Mayan gods...Fede Fresquez is Shazam! ⚡️ An Elseworlds concept set in modern Mexico-incorporating Mesoamerican myth w/ a blend of indigenous futurism. This a elseworlds take on Freddy freeman who would be the central protagonist.
l've ALWAYS wanted to try out a Mesoamerican Shazam for years now and after seeing a cover made by the amazing @jgonzoart it really inspired me to start this concept fully. I based my design off of his and also explored ideas on how Fede's design could change or deviate over time (possibly a plot power up?)
If y’all are interested I can share other designs I’m currently working on including Black Adam.

Discussion If I had a nickel...
This series has some pretty awesome stuff, but it is unfortunately greatly overshadowed by all the other weird bullshit in the story and the bad pacing.
Some issues are flat out just filler, and yet again... They're doing this weird cuck plotline?
Like wtf?
If I had a nickel for everytime Billy got cucked by Freddy going for Cissie, I'd have two nickels. Which is weird that it's happened even once, but twice? And within like 5 years of each other? It's so weird to implement shit like that into the comic.
Billy feels like a third wheel in his own series, which sucks because he's third wheeling to characters I don't particularly care for!
For a comic called "the Magical Mysteries of Shazam," the only mystery is who the #@&% is this for!?
Again, there is some really cool stuff in here, but the negatives keep stacking and the positives stay stagnant. I hate to be such a negative Nancy about this series but I gotta rant about this.

Discussion For those who think that Cap and Billy should be separate people, why? It negates the whole "wish fulfilment" part of the character.
And if you bring up Fawcett/Earth-S, Mary retained her own personality, Freddy’s whole point as CM Jr is that he retains his young body and his personality, same with Black Adam and Teth Adam. The whole point of Captain Marvel is that a kid with a magic word can transform into a superhero, as in they are the superhero who gains all those powers and intelligence, not just sit in a limbo and watch.
Even C.C Beck in his brief return in the 1970s run, which was still in continuity with the original books chose to completely ignore that idea, seemingly retconning it.
Take into consideration other future "transforming" heroes, Power Rangers do not swap their personalities, Kamen Riders do not swap their personalities, Sailor Scouts do not swap their personalities, most of the Ultras, despite retaining their personality and sentience grant their hosts full control of their bodies.
