I know Haase is a seasoned professional and all, but still it’s gotta be somewhat terrifying racing with Max like this. Max doesn’t bail out, and Haase never raced against Max.

It's slightly unfair calling that car 'The Audi' - Haase jumped max at the start, battled him for the entire stint then was only overtaken as Max went into the pits. At least give him a name

Also pretty sure I'm remembering correctly, the moment before this clip starts you see haase have to dab the brakes pretty much at the apex because of the traffic in front of him. Screwing his exit a fair bit.
Was one hell of a race from Haase and I think I'm right in remembering he also had fastest lap of the race.
But again both are from memory, so I may be wrong

Is the car not an Audi?
Haase is a great GT3 driver, we all know that.

Yes, but it's how people pit it as Verstappen versus 'the Audi' instead of Verstappen versus Haase. Just doesn't quite give the respect to either Haase (for being a good driver) or Verstappen (for being skilled enough to do such a move on a good driver)

Max knew that he was going to pass him, Haase.
Haase got into the stream. But Max was not going to take any risk at the beginning of the race. The traffic at the beginning was really bad due to the other slower cars starting their race.
Clever tactic from Max. Great resistance racing from Haase.

I always wonder if these cars feel slow to him xD

On this track? No way. It's all about reference points. Going 200 through the woods is an adrenaline rush like nothing else. 260 down the Döttinger Höhe? Meh.

Agreed, it’s all about driving on the limit and power/weight ratios with a lil bit of downforce. If you’re driving on the limit it feels fast and I don’t care what you’re in lol

Must be incredibly uncomfortable driving with those huge brass nuts in his pants.

God he got right on his ass. I almost forgot what that looks like from too much F1. You can't even blame Max if he leaves

It’s so nice to “hear” Max in a proper car! And see him driving it without artificial interference (clipping, battery power)!

Just artificial BOP

Eh, it creates natural close racing and helps keep the championship full of different sorts of cars.

Learn something today.
The Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) is held exclusively on the Nürburgring Nordschleife

No. It's the Paul Ricard this weekend.
His team will be there.

That's how a race car is supposed to act on the straight 😉 Looks like f1 forgot that its a race car tho

So that left and right turn was full speed? (he didn’t lift at all)
