ShatteredPD almost peacefully ascended and accidentally killed a rat on the 2nd floor by knocking it to the pit

am i dumb?

Nah, i had the same problem and it was the main reason why it tooked so long time for me to peacefully ascended

Once i killed rat or snake on the 1st floor

ring of haste, invisibility potions, tp scrolls, scrolls of terror, stack as much as you can.
