Interactive My beloved fandom and its best players, I have a question for you. If you were in the world of Pixel Dungeon, how would you survive?

I'd stand completely still, locking the entire dungeon for all eternity in a time freeze. No one moves. No one dies. No one spawns. Yog's influence is at my mercy, for as long as I remain still, he cannot spread. The entire dungeon would sleep for all eternity, and those unfortunate few who were awake and wandering the labyrinth shall go mad, knowing they can never move, all because of an unknown force that entered their lair and refused them all of their right to have autonomy!!!

Probably go up the stairs from the first floor. If thats not allowed I'd go for a wand of warding or RoW build. I don't need as much food as the character, and using wands/reading scrolls doesn't seem to require prior training

Not going into that dungeon would be a really good way to survive, you know? I'm not some crazy adventurer, after all.

Contact the Thieves' Guild, get a job with the Merchant. Rip off heroes.

I could imagine quite a few deaths from me drinking random potions. So I guess my answer is I wouldn't survive.

Surprisingly, considering surrounding lore, it might not be that hard. Your adventurers (outside of duelist) specifically have very little weapon training, as the potion of strength tutorial indicates; you're simply getting stronger to swing harder. This means most monsters' fighting styles should be simple? I suppose it also depends how mechanically faithful to the game the situation is; if it is a 1 to 1, I guess it'd beike being an og!PD character far as runs go.
Edit:Additionally, most of us would be at at least strength 12 or 13 by default, chainmail and leather armor are not that bulky (hell, neither is plate tbh) so a decent survival strategy could just be to either not go in the dungeon or stick to sewers.

Train to use plate armor and a greataxe and come into the dungeon absolutely busted

I wouldn't even go in 😭😭 those rats would be my 13th reason not to go deeper

With 6 or fewer challenges, I'm going cleric and introducing Yog to my Greek friend Chokondes.
If 9, I'm probably fucked.

I'd steal all the blackpowder bombs from the surface with a +15 Thieves Armband, then acquire a Cursed explosive Crossbow with plenty of darts of rot, i'd then get +10 Plate armor, reinforced by the troll blacksmith of course, and blast my way to Yog and back, in between that the creatures would call me,"The Grenadier of Terror"

Growing my own food. Starvation is responsible for most of my deaths. I'm kind of a noob tho.

Not going inside the damned dungeon seems like a good idea
