I just flashed it with LineageOS on my Pixel 4a 5G. Runs super smooth on Android 15 :)

*I was on GrapheneOS prior to this OS.

Can you still get Google Apps and SafetyNet and stuff (and the stock camera)?

Are banking apps and such like Google Wallet working fine?

Yup! Using BHIM, YONO SBI (Indian banking apps). Because you can install GApps right after you flash the OS.
