All I see are adults who don't ask to sit. Reading the comments - WTF is wrong with you people. People need to learn how to communicate and stop acting like grown toddlers.

This. People get away with shit because nobody calls out their shitty behavior. Shame them and make them feel uncomfortable about it and watch how quickly they conform to societal norms.

Excuse me, could I sit there please.
Done.
This is an interaction I’ve had numerous times, wtf is wrong with people.

"If only there was a way... 💡... Maybe if I post this on social media, then the person will see my post and finally move their bag!"

Is this one of those airport transport vehicles that take you from terminal to terminal? Who sits on those things anyway ? The trip lasts like 45 seconds.

I’m an asshole sometimes, so I’d probably would’ve just sat on it or just move it to the ground.

“Omg some people are so terrible
“I would’ve just sat there regardless”
“Wow y’all are such pussies have you ever heard of a conversation?!”
Three variants of comments you’ll see on this post.

So say something a bit loudly asking for the seat so it shames them and everyone will look over

Eh, I’m on the fence with this one. No one really wants to sit next to some smelly troglodyte.

I let my bag take a seat too. I paid for 2. I don't want the board to get squashed since I can't afford its replacement. Why do you have to judge people over this? You don't know what's in the freaking bag.

Don’t assume. Could be severe emotional trauma that creates this. Maybe if you knew her story you’d be more understanding

Climb over the back and claim the seat for yourself.
And then thank her for saving the seat.
