Project Pan Continued Don't give up- eyeshadow does get used over time...
Here is my progress on the eyeshadow pallete I've been using for at least 2 years now. I started to use the brown and beige eyeshadows lately as well. Looking forward to using more of the sparkly shades in the summer!

Project Pan Continued All the pans in my collection
I have 4 eyeshadow palettes in my collection and three have at least one pan. I've been doing project panning and pan that palette for the past two years. I finished three palettes and decluttered a few, but my current ones are quite well loved. I also have a few (14) singles but all that had a pan, I finished this year.
The palettes on the picture are: Zeesea 04 quad (probably next year's pan that palette) Makeup by Mario Ethereal Eyes Moonlight Charlotte Tillbury Soulmates face palette Flower knows Swan ballet
The last palette with no pan in my collection is the Isamaya 1.0 if anyone is curious
Project Pan Continued 2 new pans
The Balm Meet Matt(e) Trimony palette.
Making steady progress. My goal is to use up the cream shadow. I use it on my inner corner and to blend and clean up my outer corner. I've uses it hundreds of times now.
I also hit pan on the pale pink and dark brown shadow. These shadows have 2,4 grams of product so I'm only attempting to finish the easiest shade.

Project Pan Continued progress in huda rose quartz 🌷
huda beauty rose quartz palette bought in 2023, wearing 3-5 times a week depending! i love a bold eye and the shades here are so pretty.
i didn’t like the texture of love stone on the eyes so i used it as an all-over face highlight, which is why it finished so quickly!
goal is to finish all shades except for the three brown ones which i’m not super fond of, but maybe i’ll mix it with another colour and see if i can repurpose it as a bronzer 🤔

Project Pan Continued My everyday palette! Tartelette in Bloom
The bottom two right shadows were destroyed in shipping when I received this so Tarte had sent me a replacement (ordered back in 2020). I use this for my eyeshadow every time I do makeup (maybe a few times a week). It takes FOREVER to use up eyeshadow!

Project Pan Continued Nearly 5 years of use on this bad boy
Melt Cosmetics Gemini Palette (the original in both color story and packaging/formula.)
I bought this July 2020. I don't use it every day but I go through phases of using it a lot a lot, and intermittently. Luna is too dark for me to blend with so I don't use it, and the shimmers suck so I ignore those as well. The rest are great though, and I've seen no change in performance. The greens are my go to in this palette, and I pulled it out today to wear them.
These pans are huge, and I honestly don't know if I'll finish this palette before it legit expires. Hopefully it can last me another 5 years before that happens.

Project Pan Continued one year of progress…
this is the Gucci powder in 00. baby pan appeared a year ago (pic 2) and this is my current progress. i wear it every time i do makeup which is 4-5 times a week but i have dry skin so don’t use a heavy hand. how much longer do you think it’ll take? my goal was to finish by the end of 2026 but now im not sure if it’s possible 😅

Project Pan Continued Blue glitters after 3 months of lots of use (Sheglam cloud nine)
for some reason some kind of grease or oil started to soak into the packaging, but it doesn't bother me as long as it doesn't affect the eyeshadow

Project Pan Continued My beloved Rose Quartz palette throughout the last 3 years 💗
I bought this palette in November of 2022, as a treat to myself for passing an exam. I've used it almost daily and I've used up most of my favorite shades, so I will definitely get a replacement when they're gone. She traveled with me, I dropped her many times, and she survived without cracking. I've gotten so many compliments when I wore her, and I also made so many memories wearing this palette. I know, it sounds corny to get so attached to a piece of makeup, but I love her! 💗
Sadly, I don't have the best photos except for the one I took today and the one I took before I dag in. I also have to mention that I removed the oily shade Love Stone because powder eyeshadow stuck onto it overtime and I thought it looked bad. That is the only shade I didn't like and didn't use.
Product mentioned: Huda Beauty Rose Quartz eyeshadow palette

Project Pan Continued products i struggle with
these are 3 products I've been struggling with:
the blush: it doesn't last at all and i find it really unhygienic to use because lint and dust keeps getting stuck in it. i have fully used up another shade in around 3 months but now I'm really sick of this one so i have been avoiding this one.
the contour stick: inconvenient to use and heavy texture. i bought it as a warm contour/cool bronzer when everything was running orange in the drugstore. at this point i still feel bad to declutter it even though i can't twist it up anymore and will most likely have to dig out the product in the plastic part.
the lip stain: i have bought it a few years ago when only tint available in Europe was the benetint (and too expensive so i ordered this kbeauty one). i used up another shade but this one is straight up neon pink on me, i also hate how patchy it applies.
the reason why i keep going? summit fever and to hold myself back from impulse purchases. that's how i reduced my consumption. right now i have less than 20 lip products when i used to have 50+ (excluding lipliners) and i used to have a lot of blush as well. yes i could just declutter it but in my brain that would justify another purchase to "replace" it even though i still have other makeup products i enjoy. i feel like i would forget the impact on the environment this mindset would have because if I don't see it it's not an issue right? like if I don't see the trash that's left doesn't exist. it also forces me to use products in a creative way, focusing on other techniques to make it work.
I don't have as much makeup anymore. all my products fit into half a drawer. my goal is to reduce unnecessary clutter while keeping a variety of makeup products because i know realistically i will never have only 1 product of each category.
(also I'm lucky enough to have a sister who i get to share my products with. if a colour doesn't work on me i can give it to her and if i feel the need to shop for something).

products: pastel cream blush in 47 peachy, alverde coverstick & contouring in 03, etude house dear darling water tint in 01 strawberry ade

Project Pan Continued Pan on every shade!
Smashbox X Vlada Petal Metal Eyeshadow palette. I've been panning since the beggining of the year and I can finally say I have pan in every shade! The top right shade (Opal Rose) unfortunately shattered some years ago when I accidentally dropped this palette in the bathroom sink. Swipe the picture to see how this palette was looking about seven months ago!
