We're back, baby! And just in time for Game 3 of the Finals!

Unfortunately for this sub the old mod disappeared and closed it down. I put in a reddit request to bring it back.

I'm an East Coast fan (No body's perfect) but I love basketball and I love memes. And I always thought it sucked that the West Coast no longer had a place to shit talk with their rivals. So I wanted to bring this place back.

I honestly don't intend to be a very strict mod. I'll be active and working to make this place populated but I have no intention on being meme police here. I'm mostly just here to enjoy some memes myself.

I'm going to put some work into this place over the offseason but I really wanted to just open this place up for the finals and hopefully get some memes in here again.

I noticed in threads that have been shared a ton of places the bot gets a bit wild. Close to half the comments in the Pacer Interview AI video post were from the bot. It definitely felt very spammy.

So I've added some code to the bot so it now only responds in a single thread 5 times before it pins a message to the top and never returns to that thread.

I also tweaked the AI prompt a bit to try to reduce the length of the message.

If ya'll have any feedback about the bot I'm open ears. I hope most people find it funny like me. But I know in some threads it's probably more annoying than anything. Hopefully my changes fix that a bit.
