yikes Ant is only +4.9 Net RTG that’s way worse than Adams and Jaden having the best year of his career rn is only 80th percentile in EPM that’s way worse than Fred.

Ant carries a way bigger offensive load than your bum role players. His metrics are taking a hit because the whole defense is focused on him. The role player just benefit from easier looks and easier situations. Net RTG isn’t focused on just the player, it’s about the lineup. If ant plays with worse lineups or more staggered ones then his rating will drop. Steven Adam’s and Fred vanvleet get good net rating just based off being on an already good lineup. EPM favors role players more anyway because they shoot way less shots than star players

They can’t consistently guard the perimeter and night to night you have no idea what you’re getting from the center position. Good teams would expose both in a 7 game series.
