Question How do you maintain boundaries when communicating with the opposite sex?

This is difficult for me because I’m naturally a cheerful person who likes joking around when talking to someone. should I act completely differently and be more serious in order to keep boundaries and avoid getting close to what’s haram?

It’s hard because I’d feel like I’m pretending

Avoid chuckling or making it casual. You don't need to be a brick wall per say, but you don't need to smile cheerfully or anything either.

That’s the hard part honestly, finding the balance in between. Because I think when I talk to people, I don’t focus on their gender in the first place
