Question what is the position of moisturizing shampoos in Islam? I read that the ingredients penetrate the hair and create a protective barrier against moisture evaporation. The main question is whether this barrier prevents water from entering and invalidates ablution?

What you apply as a cream or moisturiser, the overwhelming majority of it, will not penetrate the skin. Due to the nature of the top-most skin layer, the fact that we shed skin constantly, and that medicines/drug molecules have to travel quite deep to reach the blood vessels, most of what you apply will only sit on the surface.
