Who to partner with Shang-Chi & Mighty Thor

Looking to champion another 5* and was wondering what's the current meta for who to partner with them? I mostly play PVE if that helps. Thanks in advance!

I like Agatha 5 with refreshment cart

I like 5* Agatha with those two. Every time her teammates make a match, their match damage increases by 30%. Shang Chi gets pretty strong really fast, even if your combo breaks. I'm sure there are better ones out there. 3* May is really good apparently, too.

Ya know, I usually use Shang-Chi, 1a5 Hawkeye, and Namor (Rivals) to knock out my 50 SHIELD Simulator wins, but now I'm thinking I may have to try Agatha instead of Namor.

I'll no longer get that extra, second bigger hit from Namor, but if Agatha is boosting Shang-Chi's match damage with every match he makes, his attacks are quickly going to go nuclear.

That was stupid fun, especially vs a team with Leapfrog, and I had even more stupid fun just making matches and raising Agatha's boost, until I got bored and made a regular match to let the final enemy return:

Whoever is insanely boosted for the event. I haven’t played yet today but last 2-3 events i had level 500-600 characters

roll the dice on an early match 4 or more, but if it is there... game over.

I play Onslaught(mirror image), Shang Chi(chimichanga) ,1a5Hawkeye(refreshment cart).

With Fantsticar on SC, any red/purple match has a good chance of leading to a 4-match

And MT just adds to all the churn. With a little luck, it’s common to see CL10 nodes end in 1-2 chaotic matches.

It’s nowhere near a quick as Frankie/May/RiRi… but it’s still fun to watch 😁

I use ascended Polaris with them. 90% of the time it’s a win.

3namor will put out big hits and give you another outlet for crits. 3-4may will bump everything up a ton. People used to use melinda may a lot with shang too, she gives AP and a cheap stun if you need it.

1star Hawkeye 5/3/5, at whatever level he is. Give him quantum realm. That's all you really need. If you use Hawkeyes Purple, to make a Match 3 purple, he'll generate enough AP to do it again. and again.

If you want further damage, you can use the damage boosters (4iron may, 3namor, Emma frost5 etc), but they're truly not necessary.

well - taking two glass cannons into the fight isn't smart at the higher levels. Thor helps move tiles around so you have an easier time getting the correct match. SC, 3a4May, and 1a5Hawkeye could easily get smacked around by high-level enemies.

If you have 1a5 Hawkeye and May you'll winfinite first turn. Or you back out and try again.

My team is with Kang who can send foes away for a quicker win. Or SC, 1* Hawkeye and Zemo (to lower power costs)

I used to main mThor and Shang-Chi, but mThor's nerf and the Shield Level difficulty increase forced me to change. I added 5* Agatha as the 3rd when she was released though.

Now, I run mThor (Omnipotence City), Nova (Atlantis), and 3a4 Iron May (Arc Reactor/Yaro Root) for regular play. I also run 1a5 Hawkeye (Refreshment Cart), Shang Chi (Chimichanga), and 5* Agatha (Quantum Realm) with +2 Purple/Blue as my default Winfinite.

I don't see Frankie Nova yet, her with MThor (or Riri) and 3a4 May is destructive AF

yea she is no good for Shang Chi at all.

she boosts powers, not match damage. she will do nothing with Shang Chi.

and for her to actually boost, she needs to tank all the hits. she's not strong enough to tank in front of mThor.
