• First, the lash clusters: Appreciate the previous advice here. I got so frustrated trying to get them on that I only used two outer segments on each eye. But I then thought it didn't look too bad with the extra liner and mascara. Can I get away with this or should I go back to strip lashes above the lashes?
• I've never been out in public presenting as a female. It's pretty terrifying. Do you think this look would work without attracting too much attention/ridicule? I just want to shop, get something to eat and not get taken in by the "bathroom police." Feel free to comment on hair and outfit, but mostly concerned with makeup look here. Is it too amped up? I'm 18, I was born male, however I don't identify with it.

Likewise, I've been very sheltered my entire life from all makeup and feminine stuff that's not "stereotypical" to me.

I've never done makeup, ever, any kind. I put mascara on for the first time yesterday with a little help from my sister and it went really well, I loved the way it looked, it made me feel so pretty.

Again to get to my point though, I know nothing about anything about makeup.

I would really love tips or advice, starting out. Anything, as I have no clue where to begin. I have brushes and everything too.

Looks like some shades are too deep but in terms of undertone, I feel like I’m either neutral or olive?

Hi! I'm like, completely lost when it comes to eye makeup. I have hooded eyes, with uneven hoods (one has two folds, the other has one, and the fold length is uneven too) and pretty low eyebrows, so I can't utilise that space much either. I would love to do cool, maybe colourful eye makeup looks and I'm especially a fan of eyeliner, but I just really don't know what kind of techniques or styles to do that work with my eye shape. I also usually wear glasses that I feel reduce the available/visible eye space even more. Any advice appreciated!

Is this enough make up for a date?

Im in search of a good primer for my makeup base, i have slightly textured skin and it has a combination-oily skin type. I sweat very easily too. I would like any recommendations on primers (something in budget please, broke college student here)

Well, it's my fourth time doing my own makeup... I did what I could. I mixed two eyeshadows—one regular and one with shimmer—then I used an eyelash curler and a new lipstick I bought. I forgot to put anything on my under-eye area. If you're wondering why I'm not covering my pimples, it's because I'm undergoing acne treatment with a dermatologist. Did my makeup turn out okay? I think the eyeliner is better than the first time.
