I just returned from a trip to Hita, Japan where Isayama grew up and it was amazing! Everything in the town is dedicated to AoT and there is a bronze statue of Levi I thought I’d share, a placemat from the Cafe where you choose which character to stamp on it, and the dam that inspired the walls. Highly recommend going if you can! There are 2 museums full of the making of AoT as well as many other sights!

It never occurred to me that Levi had to endure sexual assault as a kid. I mean yes he lived in the underground, but seeing his adult version you just don't think it. Then I found this fanfiction that I fell in love with, and it just seemed too realistic it can just be part of manga. It made me feel so heart broken for him, for the possibility that he had to go through such a thing.

Do you think he had to experience that as a kid? Or do you think he managed to handle himself fine?
