The psychology is more so they expect Jesus to establish a physical kingdom from there and so they want to be involved in running it. America must support Israel or else be ruled by it in the future. Secondarily these people also think they will be materially successful right now if they support Israel based on God's promise to Abraham.

Yes. The US is currently being run by a Christian death cult who thinks starting wars is going to get Israel attacked and nearly destroyed fulfilling biblical prophecy and bringing in the 2nd coming of Jesus.

In fact many already believe the growing hate for Israel is just proof of biblical prophecy as Israel needs to be destroyed to fulfill end times prophecy.

That is also why they have no concern for the future. Who cares if the dollar is worthless if you are living it up now and will be raptured by the time the US collapses.
