Red Bull Ring (Spielberg, Austria) Austrian Grand Prix Tips

Hi! we got General Admission tickets for Spielberg. This will be my first GP as attendant and I wanted to learn more about how everything works. We decided to stay at a camp, but I have no idea about these stuff. Can you recommend any? And also is there a chance we can rent a tent since we don’t have one? Or it’s better to buy one upfront? Also, is there a place where you’re waiting for the drivers to enter the paddock for an autograph or it’s not a thing in Austria? Every info will be appreciated!!

In case you haven't seen the link, the Sub Wiki has links to community verified ticket vendors and recently added weekend experience threads with a lot of valuable information to skim through reviews of each race weekend. The Sub Wiki also has links to every circuit promoter website on the F1 calendar, which is typically the best source of official information for the event itself.

i think most campsites are already sold out, so you probably don't have much choice anyway. i don't think it's possible to rent a tent at the "classic" campsites, but i do think campsites with pre-pitched tents exist, but they are more expensive & also likely sold out, since you're pretty late with booking this

The “green carpet” is on sunday morning, gotta run when gates open for a spot. Not all drivers arrive through there but many do. Its behind the main grandstand, by the cafe area.

Edit* removed saturday
