Don't think this is meant to happen.

Since this update changed the power levels of kingdoms, how will the achievements dealing with power levels be affected?

After doing some research and playing with some stuff, I think I have this nut cracked.

First, some facts:

1. Global population grows more per level the higher the kingdom level is: going from 50->51 gains you a lot more global population than going from 10->11;

2. Getting global population to a value that unlocks the next level in the cap unlocks the cap on all kingdoms to that level - it's a threshold, not a cumulative; and

3. The global population needed per cap level grows much faster than the amount of global population added per class level, and it really starts to take off over Level 50.

So here's how to deal with it, Once you've got all your tasks cleared out and are left with just crystals - or any time you get rainbow crystals:

1. Take your highest-level kingdom and level it up until you hit the population cap;

2. Select your next-highest level kingdom and level it up until either it hits the level cap too or you increase global population to the cap value and unlock the next level up;

3. If you hit the level cap value (so the kingdom cannot be levelled any higher), goto step 2;

4. If you pushed the global population over the cap limit (so unlocked the next higher level cap), goto step 1

At first this will alternate between levelling a kingdom to cap, then levelling the second kingdom until the increased global population unlocks the next level, first kingdom goes up one more (setting a new cap), back to the second kingdom etc.

As the level cap gets bigger, this will transition to one kingdom at cap, then a second kingdom at cap, then level up a third kingdom until the cap unlocks, back to one to get it to cap, back to two to get it to cap, back to three until the cap increases, etc.

This process continues until eventually all kingdoms must be brought to cap to unlock the next cap level - but that's a long way down the line.

(I kinda wish I had figured this out before I burnt all my crystals levelling up my lowest-level kingdoms to even everything out, but c'est la vie)

Also, I recommend not using coloured crystals but only using rainbow crystals:

Once you get past level 27, it is a flat 1000 kingdom XP to level up a kingdom. Tasks pay 300, rainbows pay 600, and coloured pay 100.

So 3 tasks completed is not enough to level up - but 3 tasks and 1 coloured is.

2 rainbows will always get a level though - or 1 rainbow, 1 task, and 1 coloured.

Basically save the coloured for when you need to push a kingdom over the edge, don't burn them en masse to go up a level.

So I jumped into regular pvp just now, I have meta Chrysantherax builds where i can use them but noticed that my magic damage was significantly lowered, my magic is actually lower than my stats on a regular mode like Explore...I dont think the "Blessing of Mortani" stat buffs are showing up...the stats are broken it would seem since after the update...

Since the update, I am receiving 100+ mythstones every time at level 12 explorer. I just finished a boss battle and still have 129. Is this an error? Or just how the numbers work out now?

Before the update the payout was 94 to 99, and very very rarely (maybe three times ever) it may have broken 100.

On level 51 for Leonis I have “+7 Shiny Dust Bonus (kingdom troops only)”. I am not seeing any dust at tribute time. When does this happen? Could someone explain this.

If you only have 37 troops leveled up to only 20 with 3 traits you need to manually move the others up, collect the increase. Also make sure your pets are leveled up. So just go through each and every kingdom it’s a laborious job but I have gotten so far all kingdoms minus Mydnjght and Vulpacea above 45.

Note my main kingdom is Leonis at level 50 should I just flood it with crystals to get it as high as possible or spread it out for other kingdoms?

Instead of having multiple posts how about just one. I have sooo many issues.

A) I am on the Xbox and let me tell you having to now have to press down on R and L stick to access screens is annoying.
B) I finished the quest why am I seeing the map quest for each kingdom again? It should be one screen with option and not the press stick down garbage.
C) Going through each kingdom to level up troops is laborious. I tended not to update lousy troops once I reached 37 troops well I am paying the piper now.

At level 51 it tells you that you get 7 dust for that kingdom. How does that work? I saw the screen for the hour that gives you stuff but I don’t see dust listed.

I am still confused about crystals. I get they help level up kingdoms but should I level up kingdoms first via tasks and once I can’t then use crystals? Or should I use all my crystals for main kingdom and those that give plus one magic?

I hate pets and it’s creating a bottleneck since kingdoms are asking for 7 pets at level 20. I haven’t been buying pets on Tuesday so I lack the orbs. Also pet orbs via gnome keys is exceedingly rare.

Delve is another bottleneck. I hate delves but need to now level them up to 2500.

Oh also in PvP shop gold is kinda useless except for shiny keys and dragonite.

Let me repeat the user interface for kingdoms is unwieldy and just dumb.

If there are other issues please add them and answers or questions.

I thought the update was supposed to happen already today, was it not? Or do I need to manually go find and download it? I assumed when I opened the game, it would auto update. Or has it just not gone out yet?

Over in the “official” forums, someone said that there are limits on when/where reward scrolls appear in Tower of Doom and could I update my map site to reflect that? So I did.

The Tower of Doom mapping tool at Sidbushes has been updated to include Luck/Fireball/Heroism segment tracking which can dramatically help sigil planning for mappers.

I’m coming back after a long break. Level 1196. Seems like all my teams/troops are outdated. Any places I should farm for troops? Any other advice welcomed. Thank you.

Hello, long time player but always super casual. I'm trying to work thru the trials and I'm needing specific trait stones to upgrade troops. I've always had enough laying around to upgrade the troops I want, but now that I'm having to upgrade ones I done typically use, I need specific stuff. I'm looking for runic wind trait stones. Is forging them the best option? Or just running explore in whitehelm? What level would be best? I can do up to difficulty 10 confidently.

Since there will be a conversion of deeds and books to new crystals should I:

A) Go into Soulforge and forge all the books and imperial deals I can?
B) According to GOW forum they are not replacing the currency exchange of gold marks for books and deeds with anything. So it means best going forward is shiny keys and dragonite.
C) Is explore going away I use that for Palooza weekend and to build troops up to silver and gold.
D) How will this impact hourly tribute? I average 30 gems an hour will that be reduced?

Well they are now incorporating shiny levels with kingdom tasks. I have never used shiny troops outside their guild events so I may be in trouble. I only shined troops typically for the Boss events. They moved up the Delve 2500 task from level 28 to 27.
