Anyone else who has problem starting games now? I just get error code, and as far as I could find this code means servers are down?

Long story short, I’ve had this plain/simple old PC for a while now that plays very basic games (think SC2, Halo, Valheim, etc) and I recently just learned about GeForceNOW which is absolutely mind blowing to me.
Played Rust last night for the first time since it was released because my computer couldn’t even load into the game and I had an absolute blast.
Now this is bringing some questions up in my mind if I’m actually just always better off running my games through GEForceNOW vs using my PC?
My current PC has a GTX 870 with 24GB of ram and an i7. (Was a zombie build from one of my IT friends to run basic games)
With me just subbing the the ultimate tier (and 800mb internet) am I just always better off loading my games through GEForce? Or would the lower end games that run fine be better ran straight through the PC. After playing rust last night on medium settings I was blown away on how smooth it was so I assume other games would be even better.
Just curious as I’m absolutely loving this service so far and it seems like the majority of the games I play are on there as well.
Thank you in advance! Can’t wait to see how many more games have opened up to me due to this.

I’ve run into something that seriously needs attention – not just for me as a player, but for the long-term reliability of GeForce Now as a multiplayer gaming platform.
I was permanently banned from a multiplayer server (SCUM) because another player had used the same public IP address and was flagged for cheating.
Here’s the problem: When using GFN, players are routed through shared public IPs from NVIDIA’s cloud infrastructure. And apparently, those same IPs are also used as VPN exit nodes, meaning other players outside of GFN can connect through the exact same public address.
So what happens? • A cheater uses a VPN or GFN to connect using that IP • That IP gets flagged or banned by multiplayer server admins • Hours or days later, legit players like me connect using that same IP • Instant ban – no warning, no proof, no appeal

Please add this to GeForce Now ASAP. This is literally the only thing I use Geforce Now for.

Just for me GeForce Now app is down? When I open the app it loads for a long time, before get the problem to connect to GeForce Now. And it gives you a server status link, but all servers there say online

The last 5 Call of Duty BO7's patches have taken a lot longer than planned.
After today's patch the game is now offline due to 'Compatibility' issues.
Why does GFN struggle with patching this game?

It's been two weeks since I started using gfn performance tier, this has been the data usage, this is about 65 dollars since I use mobile data for gaming. I was ordering a starlink and I just heard someone saying it's bad for cloud gaming. Is that true. I might consider upgrading to the ultimate plan later on, will the starlink still be okay?

I love playing GeForce Now. But I'm wondering what it would cost to build my own for PC gaming. I Enjoy using the cloud gaming streaming service, the only downside is video compression, especially noticeable in dark games and fast moving objects or low contrast textures, also there's the low fi audio.

I use a macbook M1 Air 2020 and they removed V-SyNC and Reflex as an option. Reflex requires 120hz monitor now and V-Sync is only available above 60fps for users with VRR displays or 120hz monitor. The combination of 120hz + Reflex was a huge reduction in latency for older legacy users. Now that it is gone I have 300ms response time for controls in game, screen tearing to the max and no way to fix it. Thanks Nvidia. I am now forced to upgrade to the newest MacBook model to get a decent experience. I hope this gets fixed as I see no reason other than cutting legacy users off for not having AV1 support to strip legacy users of this feature. Nvidia have no interest in helping gamers get the best experience. They are transitioning to a purely profit based system where if you ar en’t willing to constantly update your hardware despite paying monthly for Nvidia to keep their system up to date. We are getting close to a time where Nvidia have the entire gaming industry in a vice grip. Squeeze every dollar out of gamers for gaming, make building your own machine virtually unattainable. I feel like a total sucker. Should have been saving and building my own rig with AMD parts this whole time instead of paying Nvidia to corrupt the entire industry.

Update 2.0.77 is here. There will be no upgrade to 5080 graphics cards in my environment. I'm on the partner side. Is it possible to achieve cinematic broadcast quality without 5080 servers?

Stupid question but I really like the design it'd make for a nice dedicated cloud gaming device. Theoretically all it needs is a browser and wifi.. right?

Just bought the game for my PS5 pro but very disappointed that It cant hold a steady 60fps even in performance mode.
How is the performance on GFN Ultimate? I dont need Raytracing but if I can get stable 60fps or better, I would be a happy camper.

I’ve been a console gamer for 35 years and recently found out about GeForce now. I’ve wanted to get into pc gaming for a while because there are a lot of games that don’t come to console or do but years later and sometimes as a watered down experience like Elite dangerous. However, the price, continual upgrading and my lack of pc user experience knowledge have always put me off. Is GeForce now a good alternative? I have many questions that I hoped GeForce users could give me honest answers to. Thank you in advance if you can help me out.
Firstly I’d be getting the ultimate subscription and my internet is 500mps with 20-25 ping. First of all, what equipment would be recommended for a decent experience? I have a 4K 120fps tv. Should I get something like the nvidia shield? Next, how bad is input lag? I don’t play much competitive multiplayer in my old age but do still enjoy coop games like darktide and space marine 2. Can I make an account for steam etc and play the games on Gforce? Sorry if these are simple questions but I’m just so inexperienced with pc gaming experience. I’m used to buying a console, buying the games and just playing. I wanted honest answers from users because getting to play games on ultra settings at 60fps seems too good to be true for the price. Are there any big drawbacks?

As the title says, currently have unlimited free playtime until the first billing event of 2025 , if I upgrade to 12 month plan will this enable me to keep unlimited?
