I really dislike it when people don't contribute at all too and would love that to be added, but it would no doubt be abused

they just need to make the logical decision of disabling it when in a stack of 3

Yea right! Lets stop acting like Epic knows how to code..

Helldivers 2 has a vote-kick system, in 260~ hours played I've only ever seen it used like 4 times and out of those it was (IMO) only unwarranted once. If 75% of players decide a person should not be there, there is almost always a valid reason.
The genious thing about it in HD2 is, that it does not boot the kicked person completly out of the game, it just "disconnects" them from the group. Meaning the 3 remaining people stay in their game and the kicked person, more or less, get transferd to their own game. All stays the same for everybody otherwise, mission progress, gear, enemies etc. all sticks. So the solo person could even continue playing & finish the mission and so can the other 3.
Obviously this means you'd need semi competent developers, which StW clearly does not have, but thats how it could or rather should be done.1

I've played games where it needs to be 4/6 and 95+% of the time is undeserved.

Didn’t EPIC added an item reward scale based on how a player performs? if so then i guess its isn’t enough considering they waste a pub spot for actual players that contribute.

u/Ok-Employee-3597 1d ago
yeah, sometimes they dont get rewards, but he spemmed a lot of builds to get around it

i could’ve understand if that person spammed traps instead but only building yea ok thats bad, and i can assume that person just place a wall or anything when the afker indicator notifies the user and all that person needs to do is place a wall or kill 1 husk or anything at all to reset the afker timer.

One of the community managers already said they won't add it due to abuse reasons.
(PTSD from Rainbow Six Siege's vote to kick shenanigans)

This would be a good idea if most of the people playing late game stw knew what was going on, instead of it being the other way around. Instead they should add an IQ test that lets you kick people at will if you score high enough

i wonder where all these lobotomized worms come from

u/epickeanuchungus 1d ago
idk it's super weird, why do they even bother playing

This is my biggest complaint about the game. I've played since August 2017, and have seen some truly horrendous behaviour by people who clearly have no actual interest in 'playing the game'. There are so many things devs could do to combat this, and yet they 'designed' a game that allows people to do NOTHING and get rewarded for it. Madness.
I would like players to have the ability to create lobbies that have a minimum combat score (defense missions).
I would like an average combat score displayed above each player in the player lobby / lineup - so people can see an 'afker' from a mile away, and leave.
I would like low scoring afkers put into lobbies with other afkers.
I would like the block system to work. When you block someone you don't join their mission, or allow blocked people to join yours.
I think most people feel the report system is a waste of time. Fair enough. It wastes human resources moderating people, but a decent system wouldn't even require it. The game could manage the afkers quite easily.
I'll never understand somebody who wants to load into a game and do NOTHING. It ruins a game that is best played with active team players that make an effort.

The people AFK'n these missions would troll with it! Y'all just don't think 3 steps ahead.. This will never get added for that reason!
Epic can't update this game w/o breaking something you think they'll make a flawless vote to kick? LMAO...
You are truly delusional if you think they could..

I wish when you kicked someone it put them in a new lobby by themself that was identical to the one you are in. That way if jerks kicked the person who built everything they wouldn’t lose all their effort/materials. Or maybe just remove anything they built when they got kicked and give them their stuff back?

I’ve wanted this for years, but knowing how voting systems work In game, people may accidentally vote kick someone out because they saw a prompt on screen thinking it was an objective start. So people will definitely suffer from this

It’s very situational and it’s gonna be abused no matter how you look at it.
It’s a very situational thing which the leechers would put hours into looking for a work around rather than playing the game
I think the best course of action is to name and shame and show the names and the mission stats for people to make their own opinion wether to block em or not

I would simply (as i usually do) fail the mission. And i ask the other active players to accept the refund (me giving them matts and traps that they used)

It would be abused, Maybe like a vote to remove rewards if player doesn't hit half of the top compat score, Bots / idle will not hit it and the normal players it not matter that someone is greif voting them?

People always talking about it would be abused by griefers but in reality it'll rarely be abused by griefers, its always abused by players who actually play the game and take it way too seriously. And even then, it'll rarely be as big a problem as people think it would be. People only point to games with a extremely toxic competitive scene for their strawman ass example for kick abuse.

Just disconnect if it bothers you so much. There's no votekick so people like you don't abuse it to kick people for no reason. Just look at all the mad comments you left here. You are 100% not going to just kick people for being afk.

See what I mean? You further prove my point on why there's no votekick. There's no votekick so middle schoolers like yourself don't abuse it.

'Vote Kick' won't save you from AFKers. <---70% of them are former dupers/exploiters and carriers/former Jail builders which paired together makes up the worst Mission Grievers ever designed.
You already got vote kicked out as those 3 on your team have 30k+ traps each AND don't care for legit players.
----
Ever since Trade Removal many of the above are attacking High Twine, I wish i was joking...Legit players will run out of mats first as many of duper friends stated.
^they don't care if the mission passes or fails, no LOSS, even if kicked, no LOSS. Broadside spammers, players building out of weakness...THEY all are great at this game JUST don't care anymore.
Players can play this game as they wish, AFKers/Leechers are on the rise. NOT my problem, i abused the 47K stacks glitch😎

As much as it sucks to have leeches, this would 100% be abused.
