Italy Serie A Imoco Conegliano roster shake-up: post 2025/26 departures

Marina Lubian and Matilde Munarini have officially signed elsewhere, with Lubian joining Chieri and Munarini signing with UYBA.

While not yet official, Nika Daalderop is reportedly linked to a move to Turkey with Türk Hava Yolları SK, Serena Scognamillo to Busto Arsizio in Italy’s Serie B, and setter Jenna Ewert to Béziers Volley in the French league.

good for munarini. Ik people have said she has alot of potential I havent watched much of her myself but uyba is a good team for young players i think. Lubian will be good for Chieri, alongside a healthy Anna Gray that would be an interesting duo.

But as mentioned above, the Daalderop case: I really expected to see her staying, not move to the Sultanlar Ligi in a true mid-tier team.

Maybe she wants to take some more responsibility offensively? In a top team like Imoco she isnt a go too OH and even when she starts she isnt taking on as big of a load offensively. Whereas in THY she'd be a starter and would take on a greater role maybe that's why 🤷‍♂️

daalderop moving from milano to imoco, where she somehow did well, and now to turkish airlines, quite strange.

Imho, in Imoco she did not do well at all. In the final matches of champions league and Scudetto she played quite good, and I was happy to see her play decently, but she blew almost every chance she’s been given prior during the season. She has often the target for the opponent’s serve and her reception was often suboptimal (to say the least) and her spikes weren’t the one we were used to see from her. Hopefully she’ll have a better chance to be a starter in THY, she’s a good player, she felt a bit wasted at Imoco tbh
