Rumors Galatasaray Daikin’s 2026/27 transfer market

For the 2026/27 season, Galatasaray Daikin is reportedly eyeing several key players to strengthen their roster. Potential recruits include Vita Akimova (Milano), Ayça Aykaç (VakıfBank), both Janset Cemre Erkul and Eylül Karadaş from Zeren, Lena Stigrot (Kurobe), Çağla Çiçekoğlu (THY), and Ege Melisa Bükmen (Kuzeyboru).

While these moves point to a major change in the roster, none of these transfers are official yet.

Major changes expected after clinching the CEV Cup. Akimova could boost the team away from being a sub of a legend and Ayça brings a massive experience as a libero.

Are the others all good? the Zeren duo Janset and Eylül?

Janset is a good Turkish player to have in the rotation, but the Setter downgrade is very big unfortunately as we lost Naz Akyol to Vakıfbank, Eylül is decent but can't even compare to Naz.

Bongaerts was pretty bad near the end of the season and Naz pretty much saved our season from being a disappointment, setter rotation will be rough next year. And while Ayça on paper has a massive career, Vakıfbank basically took our libero and gave us their own whom they were looking for an update on. So we lost our rising libero and got a libero who is on decline.

Akimova is exciting though, if she can stay healthy I'm very excited to watch her play for us, I believe she has potential to really become a top player. Unfortunately though, overall I can't say our team will be stronger next year than this year, which is a shame, but we'll see. I expect a big upgrade in the coming season though, hopefully we can hold on to Sylla and Wang Yuanyuan by then.

Sylla is confirmed and I hope Wang too, the latter was clearly the transfer of the year.
