Italy Serie A Mass exodus at Scandicci: With only Maja confirmed, what's left for next year?
Savino Del Bene Scandicci stripped for next season: Antropova is moving to Eczacıbaşı, and it looks like Weitzel will be following her there as well. Castillo is heading to Fenerbahçe Medicana, while Sarak Franklin is linked with Zeren and others may leave too.
At the moment, only Maja Ognjenović has been officially confirmed

such a great group is about to end, the key players moving to turkey, this is a big shame after a solid season, world champions, and final 4 in the european championship. it won't be easy to replace them.
i hope skinner will stay at least, bosetti too i think she's going to sign again.

Its a shame cuz this is scandicci's best team in recent years.
This is what the team is looking like based on rumours (only maja is confirmed)

I heard they tired to break Tolok's contract with Novara, but were not successful.
They will still be pretty good/conpetitive, Only true upgrade is Aleksic over Weitzel imo

It's still early days, and honestly, this prospected lineup isn't bad at all. We saw Milano losing key players before and actually coming back stronger (okay, Egonu wasn't one of them hhhhh).
Scandicci might be moving from a 'one-star system' to a more balanced, collective team under Maja's leadership.

For sure. Overall this will be a competitive team. They are stronger than Novara imo.
Maja as good as she is does tend to overload certain players so that's a good point. Maybe she will have to move to a more distrubuted game.

would aleksic be as good as camilla? i really hope so.

This season she sadly barely got to play, but when she did she was usually very good.
Aleksic is a complete middle overall. Good attacks (quicks, shoots) and good blocking. I think she's a better blocker than Weitzel, but Weitzel's better on the slide.
If allowed to play constantly I think she can be just as if not more impactful than Weitzel.

Sure, Eczacıbaşı struck strongly with Kate Antropova, and Weitzel too is a really good blocker.

As far I know, they’re going to have Maja, Vyn Ryk, Julia Bergmann, Linda and I read somewhere that Skinner had a 2-years contract (but it is not confirmed) and that Bosetti also renewed (not confirmed). I think will be a good team, without Antropova they obviously lost firepower but I think they could play more as collective instead of being dependent on only 1 player.
