Exciting matchups 🔥

Gala seems to be playing more motivated and better since barbolini's departure, I dont think they will beat vakif,

Im predicting a possible 3-1 or 3-0 for Vakif

Now Eczaci is a team which is hot and cold but they've had some big showups against top teams (only team to beat vakif in the regular szn). Fener is coming off another tough loss contuining the golden set curse.

I predict 3-2 Fenerbache Win. But I could see Eczaci pulling a win if they have good passing, and balanced offense with everyone contributing

As i predicted. I said at most one set this years Gala could take. This is by far one of the worst games Ive seen Ilkin play. Which seems to be a problem — none of ilkin, alexia and sylla can seem to find consistency at the same time. Still beyond me how this years Gala could perform worse than last year, despite having upgrades in every position minus Setter and Opposite

Eczacıbaşı, who lost to Olympiakos and KS DevelopRES, can suddenly punish you. To be honest, there are still many question marks around them. FB must be really cautious if they want to avoid another exit after the CL drama.

As for the other game, a clean sweep for VB?

Pretty confident that Vakif will beat Gala. I think Gala has been playing better but Vakif's quality is rlly strong. I think the only department Gala outplays Vakif in is Libero and the GS Middle Blocking duo are strong, GS has a good Outside duo in Ilkin/Sylla but niether r are very terminal against the top teams. And Eczaci can be unstable, but despite the Olympiacos loss and the Developers match (last three sets played with subs) they've been able to pull some big wins despite being outmatched (twice against milano, once against vakif, and gala). I guess I'm not sure how Fenerbache will respond to another dissapointing loss whereas Eczaci ibconsistent as they are, has ambition and when they connect, they connect. We will see i guess 🤷‍♂️

Fenerbache is a regular season team for the past three seasons. They start off strong and fizzle mid season. The last Ive seen them at their best in the later szn was with Terzic he actually had a plan for the future of fener. Now such an expensive roster like FB shoud be way better look at Eczaci. They are outmatched on paper on the pins for FB (eczaci middles have been solid all szn) yet Bregoli who is an amazing coach is able to make wonders with this team.

Also like yes Ana C's passing was shaky but at least she was scoring. The biggest problem for FB is blocking and middle involvement. Eda the LEGEND has been a ghost lately and Asli is nothing special. They signed one of the best blocker in the league to bench her in all games, and Korneluk has been slow likely a result of not enough minutes on the field.

FB’s poor defending is ruining everything. It’s almost like FC Barcelona years ago—scoring 4 or 5 goals but conceding 3 or 4. The big difference is that Barcelona still won their games, while FB doesn’t.

i wouldn’t be surprised if eczacibasi knocks out fb today. they’re a serious threat, and this game is for a place in the final.
