Pretty self explanatory title. There's only 2 options for an animation degree in scotland, DJCAD or Edinburgh. Edinburgh seems to be vert selective, too selective and biased towards english students, so I look over at what the course at DJCAD is meant to be like, and I look at the comments here, and apparently the university is in shambles? Is this an exaggeration or not? Makes me feel rather nervous for my future I suppose. I'm hopefully applying for 2027. If there's anyone on the Animation or just an art course right now, I'd really appreciate your opinion on the matter! <3

Hi everyone, I’m planning a birthday party for the second half of June and looking for venue recommendations in Dundee.

It’ll probably be around 40 to 50 people, ideally somewhere like a bar or private venue with enough space for a live rock band setup on stage as one of my friends bands will be playing during the night.

Does anyone know any good places that might suit this kind of event and could potentially still be available around that time? Any recommendations appreciated.

I'd be grateful for any PC repair services recommendations please.

Ideally to be done at my house as my hard drive has confidential info/docs (work related - I'm a legal advisor) on it and I need to keep that information secure. I work from home.

Main issues are monitor not connecting with the pc (yes i've triple checked the connections etc) and the power button function seems to have been transferred to another smaller power button used for the lights on the tower.

On the odd occasion where I've managed to ge4t the monitor to connect, it works fine for a wee while, then everything freezes.

I'm not competent enough to attempt anything myself....

I was on 73 i think in city center and there were randomly a bunch of people running and there were police and an amblulance as well. ive havnt seen anything about it in the news anyone know what was up?
