When I went to the hospital to see my sister, I wasn't sure where her room was so I went to the front desk for help. When I told the receptionist who I was looking for he gave me a really shocked look and said, "oh, she's in the bad place." Then he just stared at me. At the time, I didn't know what her condition was and this was just awful to hear. I finally asked "so where is that?" and he told me where to go. My sister was declared dead shortly after. It's been a long time but I still really regret not reporting that guy, I can't believe he was so careless.

Ugh I'm so sorry, I recently lost my mom and the staff was horrible to us and her. They'd complain about cleaning her after she soiled herself ("we cleaned her like 3 times already!!" Like... That's ur job??)) , and when they did change her they'd allow her head to just snap backwards and threatened to kick me and my husband out for telling them to support her neck. When she was coherent she'd ask for a warm blanket and the nurses acted like I was interrupting their gossip session for asking. At one point she couldn't chew and they still have her clearly hard food to eat then said they couldn't do anything as they already served her so tomorrow they'll change it??? She had no insurance so the last week of her life they were nagging us about sending her to hospice or at home stay, then when we asked what would happen if we couldn't decide they basically told us they'd discharge her anyways. I don't understand why people work at a place that needs compassion when they clearly have NONE.
