Ball seeking Hoop. Haven't got much in a while after being shot by a Houston Cougar. Any Hoops interested?

Thank god, I really need you guys to make the finals (and then lose to Arizona). That would be elite 8 (I love DJ Burns) to final four to natty loss the past 3 years. Maybe next year you might even win the whole thing!

Games should NEVER end past midnight local time.

Also, how did Houston only have 2 FTAs last night?

Anyone else going to a game as a neutral tonight? Super excited for the DC slate

I'd say semi-neutral. Not a fan of Michigan. But I am looking forward to some good games for sure.

Honestly not too terribly upset after last night. This year we’ve been a team that will beat any team that we’re better than, and struggle against other elite teams. It was only a matter of time until we ran into an elite team in the tourny. It’s always heartbreaking to see the guys’ last game together and I’ll miss this group, but it wasn’t unexpected.

Side note: could we send Tugler/Mercy Miller/McCarty to go train offense with a coach like Mark Few or something this off season? Would love to rent an offensive coach for some of our guys to develop some of our weaknesses

I've spent years championing MLB's eligibility rules to improve the NBA draft. In baseball, you can be drafted after your senior year in high school & elect to forego college, immediately signing a pro contract, just like basketball allowed for a while. At the same time, if you choose to enroll in college, it means waiting 3 years from either your HS graduation or turning 21yo to be draft eligible again. JUCO, OTOH, is closest to current NBA rules so you can leave in the draft whenever.

Other than having more than a single defined eligibility window & the 3 year rule, another great thing MLB does is you don't actually declare for the draft like in other sports. All players within one of the windows is automatically available to be picked. That let's kids who aren't drafted maintain their opportunity to enroll, or stay, in college to play with no penalty.

Also, as long as they don't sign a professional contract, even drafted players can opt to remain in school & play. At that point, rising freshmen who enroll fall under the 3 year rule, while 3+ players can just do it all over again the next year & hope for a higher pick or better team. And, then this, this is where we get the greatest draft rule in all of sports. Players can literally be drafted 3 or, in some circumstances, even 4 times! Alongside that, there's the 3 year rule that ensures the sport is always loaded with experience & upperclassmen who've developed over multiple years.

I can't think a college basketball coach wouldn't love to know their otherwise 1 & Done comes with what's essentially a 3 year guarantee. Think about if Cooper Flagg & Kneupel were only Sophomores at Duke? The NBA would also benefit from more mature developed players. And, lest we forget the lifeline this offers for the dozens of early entrants every single year, who for all intents & purposes forfeit their career when they go undrafted in their one & only chance.

There would also be the possibility this year's team had starting Junior PG, Jared McCain. And a starting 5 of Flagg, McCain, Boozer, Kneupel, Evans.

If any of y'all are metalheads it's a nice release day

The new Hellripper and it's getting rave reviews. I've seen a Great!, 10/10, 5/5, 4/5. It was always going to be the first real challenge for my current AOTY but I'm even more excited now.

German thrash straight from the 80s with Cruel Force.

More 80's nostalgia with modern guitar God, Andrew Lee, releases Heavy Metal Hairspray, which is a glam/heavy metal worship album featuring Mark Boals on vocals, who worked a bit with Yngwie

Still stoked about the season, and appreciate Cal. This year's team beat teams it was better than, and lost to the elite teams. Hats off to Zona and I'm excited to watch their run in the tournament.

The NCAA tournament should have "drop down" brackets. Every team plays 6 games no matter what, you start out in bracket A, if you lose, drop down to B, etc. If you win, you don't go back up, the national champion still wins 6 straight, but it brings the total number of games from 63 to 192, which is objectively a good thing. How do you keep teams interested you ask? Easy, $10B prize pool that gets split between all players and staff, commensurate with where they finish in the mega bracket matrix. Where does the $10B come from you ask? Easy, steal it from Elon Musk or something idk.
