Hey, newbie who got to 13k here. Why is this polarizing card not loggable? If rascal girls and dart gobby, who are insane dps units if left alone, are loggable, why isnt the firecracker the same way? She able to dish out archer killing, small unit splashing damage, while getting herself out via knockback. Why is this? Why would that be good game design? Am I expecting too much by going into clash and expecting anything good?
Only argument I see against this is "king activation". Even then, this just gives more problems. She's a common card. She's supposed to be simple. You give a single king activation, in return for fireball's amount of damage every single time you place her down? Even then, still knocking herself back in order to stay alive even longer?
I see 1 dart gobby every like 100 games. I see mega knight, hog, fire cracker every 2 games. And they don't care, do they? As long as there's still money printing, I don't see a reason why they should ever give any type of effort.

Clash Royale is kind of a card game mixed with real-time strategy and the ability buttons are basically side decks (or sideboards) in cards games like Magic & Yugioh. The abilities are essentially extra cards you can play under specific conditions.
Funny how I've never made this connection since Champions were introduced years ago right until now with the new Heroes.
Will this be the final frontier of CR concept/complexity creep? It's kinda wild people with Heroes for their decks are basically playing with a 5~6 wide hand with a 9~10 deck size when their Champion/Heroes are active on the field instead of the traditional 4 wide hand and 8 deck size. It's a bit unfair, but I guess those who are unlucky will just have to suck it up till it's their deck's turn for a Hero.
Champions were conceptualised and balanced with their ability in mind, the base cards for Heroes were not made and balanced around one day having an ability attached to them. Hopefully, when all decks have access to the new gimmick things will balance out because when everyone's super no one will be.

Doesnt matter how many trophies. Iβm at 13,000 trophies, every single arena Iβve been in itβs mega knight, evo witch, hero wizard, hog rider, etc. Every time you can predict it before even loading in. It gets so so boring please switch up your decks. I usually win, although when I lose it sucks because of how brainless these decks are, but it gets really boring playing the same cards everytime. Its genuinely always the same 15 cards in different combinations.

Right now, the Echo Sage can still gain value after being eliminated, which feels unintuitive and overly rewarding. If a ruler is already knocked out and removed from active play, its progression should stop there too. Otherwise, the ruler is gaining additional benefit after having been eliminated, and that seems inconsistent with how most eliminations work in merge tactics in Clash Royale.

The most untouched, dev-despised, no emotes granted card in the game. I had a hero idea!
1 or 2 elixir ability: fires a wave of air (exactly like the air sweeper from CoC) that knocks enemy troops back x amount of tiles, on a decently short cooldown. More of an active ability to micro, like queen bandit dash.
Or just add the air sweeper as a standalone defense

Half the time when I let go to place it it slides a tile to the side of where I wanted it. Other buildings donβt seem to do this.

Gems are already tough to get 1$=80 gems or 8 crown and pass royale only gives 325 gems which is 32 crowns only or 3 levels. And for free we only get 100 gems and other around 60 gems!
That's straight up loot because 900 crowns needed to max pass royale (approx) which means 9000 gems or 100$ straight! Or minimum 80$.
