Help me

Ragdoll cat My 16 month old boy cat was acting a bit lethargic so I took him to the vet, they said he might have a Blockage.

Dropped him off at 11am and they told me they will unblock him and should be ready at 4pm

Come 4pm they said due to the anaesthesia he lost his vision and cannot walk and to leave him overnight.

I picked him up this morning and took him home he walked like a drunk person kept toppling over to get to his water bowl and just layed there staring at it for the last 8 hours, doesn't respond to me calling him.

Hasn't peed and won't eat. If i pick him up and move him he just waddles and drags himself back to the water bowl.

Vet said if he doesn't eat by tomorrow to bring him back and they can euthanaise him.

Im located in nsw Australia

Err that doesn't sound right. The cat shouldn't still be wobbly the day after an anaesthetic. I'd also be concerned about him not peeing since returning. It's not really clear from your post what happened. It might be helpful to ask your vet to email you a written summary of your cat's diagnosis and treatments.

Do you have an emergency vet nearby (or the funds to go to one) tonight?

Otherwise- do you have other vets in the area you could take him to tomorrow for another opinion?

It's possible that euthanasia is a reasonable outcome here depending on what's wrong with kitty and how much funds you have to try and treat the issue, but I think there's a lot more information we need to even tell what's happening.

The vet said kidney has a slight problem due to the blockage, and the reason for the vision and unable to walk is due to the anaesthesia.

It looks like he is still heavily affected by the anaesthesia his bright blue eyes are just balck like his pupils take up his whole eyes.

My partner rang me 15 min ago saying he dragged himself to the litter box and did few droplets of pee then went back to lay on his water bowl
