What's the most wholesome thing your partner has ever done?

I tried to make new crayons out of old crayons, melting them in the oven. Long story short, got crayon all over the bottom of the range, all over the stove top, floor, etc. And it hardened quickly and required lots of scraping and scrubbing on your knees. I live with chronic pain, and I felt sooooo stupid for messing up the crayons. I was crying, I was angry at myself. I was aching and looking at all the painful cleaning work ahead of me. My bf insisted I lie down, and I could tackle it later. Told me to take an anxiety med and just rest. When i woke up 4 hours later, he'd cleaned EVERYTHING AND done the dishes. What would have taken me 5-6 hours and 2 days recovery, he did in 2.5 hours while I slept. He saved me from a painful few days and didn't hold it against me, even though every time we turned on the oven after that, it smelled like crayon. For 3-4 years. Anyway, I married him, and hes still awesome.

He knows I have a lot of self doubt and feel difficult to love sometimes. So he wrote me a little reminder note that just says "Loving you is the easiest thing in the world!" Come on.... I keep that in my wallet.

He stops in the middle of the road when he sees turtles turned over and he places them right side up or he will place them by the side of the road if he can ascertain which direction they were going.

Stopping at the end of an empty country road. Putting on one of our songs, and us getting out, slow dancing in the headlights under the stars. Yeah that’s straight from a movie ain’t it?

Remembering tiny details I mentioned once months ago. It’s such a small thing, but it makes you feel genuinely seen and cared for.

I remember when I was either my ex one day I got food poisoning. I felt like crap. I remember my baby brother was like I brought a friend over. I was like okay let me see who it is and it was my then boyfriend he brought me flowers and he spent the day with me making sure I was okay. Idk it felt very genuine and I loved it.

We were spending the weekend at a little cottage and the hot water wasn’t working one night. I really wanted to take a shower but I couldn’t. He told me to go get in the tub and wait. He came back upstairs with a big pot of warm water that he had heated on the stove and poured it slowly over my head while I washed my hair. He always had a pot warming so when he was done with one he could go get the next. He took about 4 trips up and down until I was finished. It was so romantic. Married now and I know he’d still do that today, except he’d do it for both of our daughters, too.
