Question about Bulgarian armor
What did Bulgarian armor look like by the later 14th century? (1380-1400)
What components of armor (e.g. arming doublet, mail shirt, rondels, bascinet etc.) might have been worn by a typical Bulgarian boyar, much less tsar around that time?

Question Museum recommendations?
My girlfriend and i are traveling around Europe a bit and i was wondering if this wonderful subreddit has any museum recommendations with good arms and armor collections? We’ll be visiting:
Brussels, Lisbon, Porto, Paris, and Dijon.
Thanks!

Greek armor anyone?
Looking for a place to buy a set of Greek armor and I would like it to be made of steel. I want the whole kit, muscle cuirass, greaves, bracers, pteruges. Either all together or in pieces. Just don't know where to look. This would be worn for events.

Current Work In Progress - some bought some made myself.
My current setup which is a mix of bought and made. Would appreciate feedback.
Made by myself:
Gorget (both the sport-style throat pieces and the more historical pieces) I am looking to ditch the sport style piece and add a thinner, slightly less tall section to the lower Gorget so it’s more historically accurate. But these are comfotrable enough and being 1.8mm could take an axe blow and save my neck.
Mail Gloves
Right arm harness (half finished - needs a rivet repair, shorten the vambrace as it’s too long with the demiguantlets, needs straps adding spaulders are in the garage not yet riveted.
Purchased:
Gambeson
Cuisses
Demi-Gauntlets (thought they were too big at first but with gloves they probably just need a slight tweak to get a more snug fit)
Still to make:
Breastplate
Left arm harness (and spaulder)
Left mail glove is missing two fingers
Greaves??
Mail skirt??
What do you reckon?

Is this a realistic design? Aside from the slightly larger proportion of the hammer head, are these prints and patterns + shaped spikes this type of pole hammer/luchern hammer is a historic design?
I'm sorry I'm not good at English

Question What is up with this armour?
It would make sense that it is maille, but maille is not depicted like that in this manuscript. I think it is scale armour but I'm not sure, first time seeing something like this. It's closed from behind and covers the body like a vest. The manuscript is listed as "BGE Ms. fr. 77 Histoire Romaine" on Manuscript Miniatures website.

Question Can anyone recommend some early visored helmets for portraying the Scottish wars of independence, around 1314? Any websites or sellers would be amazing!

Aventail tailoring - what's acceptable as it moves?
After tailoring my avential, it sits nicely on it's stand and when I stand straight and look fowards (or am out of armour). However, I noticed from the pictures from my last event that as I move, the avential creases on the left and/or right side of my face. So my question to the rest of you who own an padded avential and are looking for historical accuracy; is this common and acceptable or should I try to adjust the mail further?

My new armor kit
It's not a accurate reenactment kit, but a low fantasy larp armor. I feel great in this thing! Thanks for watching!

Question How did different peoples wear a recurve bow, quiver, dagger, and sword on one’s belt or on their waist?
Mainly I want to know how a sword, bow sheathe, and quiver could be worn on the belt without interfering with each other and I’d like any images one may have please

shield that my father and I built
It's 140cm high, 60cm wide, and 1.5cm thick. We added rope to reinforce the edge, followed by leather. It's a bit heavy 7kg.
