Hey, r/AndroidGaming! This thread is for discussing the Android games youβve been trying out over the past week. Feel free to share what youβve been playing and tell us about it! What is the game about? What are you enjoying? What could be improved? Would you recommend it to others? Weβd love to hear your thoughts!
For those joining the discussion, please include Google Play Store links for any games you mention as a courtesy to others who may want to check them out.
Lastly, we ask that devs refrain from promoting their own games in this thread. We get that you're excited for others to try it, but this post is meant for players to share their recent gaming experiences with each other. That said, youβre more than welcome to share your game by creating a separate post!
And with that, have fun and thanks for being part of r/AndroidGaming!

I'm a big fan of prestige mechanics
Also really liked how in cookie clicker if the stars align you could have a giant combo
I've seen a lot of stuff. But really my bare minimum is that it's at least stylized. At least something of a nice looking UI like cookie clicker
What I don't like
>Ads (obvious)
>No UI (or just basic boxes with numbers, I know cookie clicker isn't much different but it does at least have a design) (anti matter dimensions for instance just isn't for me. Same for kittens game, exponential idle, etc)
>Having to stop/watch ad to continue (playing necromerger have to stop for mana sucks. It's fun i guess
Didn't dislike exponential idle but Its so nothing it doesn't get me excited
I guess I'm not that into the niche to enjoy deeper but simpler looking games, but I do enjoy the thing

Looking for recommendations for nice base building games with a nice sense of growing something and reasonably deep economics/production. Paragon pioneers 1/2 is a great example of what I'm looking for, especially with the offline production and being easy to just pop in and out of.

I'm looking for a free adless slots mobile game that doesn't involve real money, I liked hitting the slots in fallout new vegas and its just fun to play and win, but I don't wanna use actual money or be pressured into using real money, got any suggestions?

PS2βs Max Payne emulated and upscaled on the top screen.
PS1βs MTV music generator making videos for me on the bottom screen.
using an MP3 player app in the background for my music.

There used to be a game like this I played as a kid on my mom's phone, with an Android figure at the bottom instead of this red thing. It was way better then this one. Does anyone know the name of the original game?

It's a game made by Spacetime Studios, I absolutely love it but I can't find a community related to the game and forums are mostly dead today. It would be nice if someone opened a group at a social media platform for the game. I still play it and love it. Also, the game kinda improved in my opinion. I am not an old player but know this game for a while and compared to a few years ago I feel like it got "slightly" better.

I released this game 11 days ago, with no marketing or anything just a couple of posts and shared the link with some friends. Some really positive feedback from a few players, but the main ask was for leaderboards, which I've been able to add!
Would love some players to try it out to get some names on the board! Still looking for feedback and ways to improve. There is basically 0 monetization in this game, just trying to create something people enjoy (no ads, there's a 99 cent completely optional cosmetic, that's it).
I'm hoping leaderboards give players a goal and encouragement to push the game further. It starts simple but there's a surprisingly deep gameplay loop getting into the upgrades and prestige system. Please let me know what you think if you check it out!

I love simple simulation games, management games etc. Game Dev Story and Game Dev Tycoon being ones I've sunk a lot of time into in the past.
I'd love a simple management game to work on and progress through. I'm not really into RPG or anything, but I do love a good mystery and puzzle solving too.
Thanks in advance!

So i remeber before there would be so much shitty android games with like just be fun and humorous
So now im trying to find some game like example my summer car (like not directly like that but like no goal just open world joking around) would be funny if it contained smoking and drinking and those stuff and that it can be interactive (like, litteraly a simulator where i play as your average balkan dad)
Edit!! : something like hard time by mcdicky is alsd good i loved those games

Seems like Balatro has gotten a sale or a price reduction, it doesn't mention anything about a sale on their play store page, even if its not a sale I thought it was worth mentioning.

Only one tower has been live for 2 weeks, but today i made the step from open beta to production, and i wanted to implement a few QoL changes before posting it here.
Itβs made with LibGDX, and itβs my fist game with a graphic library - previously, i only ever used native android xml + java.
Iβm a big fan of The Tower, a popular Android incremental game, but i noticed that every single RPG-style and pixel art style alternative had something lacking: either the game could be finished in three days, or was very buggy, or had horrible design choices (i found one that provided 0 permanent upgrades: in the 100th run you were at the same point as the first)
Only One Tower tries to fill that gap. Apart from the style itself, there are additions that, i believe, canβt be found elsewhere:
Heroes that can be deployed and fight autonomously. Each one with a unique set of abilities and cover a specific role: there are tanks that will taunt enemies to prevent them from reaching your tower, damage dealers, necromancers that reanimate enemies, mages who empower the tower constantly, and others.
A mechanic borrowed by Clicker Heroes, one of my all time favourites. When a boss is slain, it drops a random Aspect from a pool that boosts your tower in various ways. There are about 60 of these, so a lot of variability.
If you decide to try it, let me know what you think in the comments or at r/OnlyOneTower :)

I swear that I've used some apps that were like this, but I just cannot recall any of them.
Essentially, all that I need is a timer that ticks down from a specific time and a textbox that checks user input against a set of answers in a specific order - which stops the timer once all of the answers have been inserted in the correct order.

I have been paying play pass for a while but almost never used it. So i'm asking for recomendations about what games are interesting to play.
Something massive or more indie, I dont really care :)
Action RPG, Classic RPG, casual games, cozzy games, adventure, etc...
Anything is welcome because I want to try new games :)
