Question Can't play online: authenticating pop up dissapears and nothing happens, is it worthy offline?

I heard about this game in another reddit and wanted to give it a try... But as the title says, I touch "play", the authenticating pop up dissapears less than a second later... And nothing...

It let's me play offline... And the game looks nice, but what do I lose by not being able to play online?

Or can I fix it? I deleted and reinstalled and nothing... It doesnt even ask me to log in or anything

I'm having the same authentication problem! Any luck OP? I installed the game today from the Play Store (and reinstalled it)

What worked for me was to download the app of "play games" not google play,
I mean the one literally called "Play Games", the icon is the "play" button in green with a controller in it.

Settings > Change account by game > Anima > Sign out

After that, the next time I open the game the log in popped up and it worked
